Sambhaal brings physio-designed strength & wellness programming — and free community education on scam safety and digital basics — to your venue. Certified bilingual coaches, everything insured, and measured outcomes your funders will love.
And both answer to the same intervention: culturally-comfortable group strength and connection.
Falls cost the health system over $2 billion annually — and most are preventable with strength and balance work.
Immigrant seniors in multigenerational homes are often alone 9 to 6 while the household works.
Earlier onset, at lower body weight. Muscle is where blood sugar gets used.
Strength responds fast at any age — and we measure it, participant by participant.
A physio-designed strength, balance and wellness program for adults 50+, in 8- or 12-week blocks — two coached sessions a week, chai and community built in.
Easy first bookings — single sessions your members will thank you for.
Grandparent scams, fake CRA calls, OTP fraud — how to spot them and what to do, in Punjabi and English. Bank- and police-friendly content.
Video-calling the grandkids, using WhatsApp confidently, and banking online without fear.
A falls-prevention talk with live strength testing — volunteers try the 30-second sit-to-stand and leave with their own score.
New programming for your members — with the evaluation data your renewals need.
Sangat-friendly scheduling, modest formats, women-only sessions available.
Turn-key 55+ programming for rec calendars — culturally responsive, fully insured.
Resident programming with measurable outcomes families can see.
A safe next step for discharged patients who need to keep moving.
Most programs report headcounts. Ours reports measured functional change, participant by participant — the difference between "we ran sessions" and "we changed lives, here's the data."
30-second sit-to-stand, grip strength, balance, gait speed — recognized fall-risk indicators, tested at baseline and block-end.
Attendance, retention, functional improvement rates and participant stories — formatted for New Horizons, OTF and municipal reporting.
The WhatsApp circle keeps participants connected all week — longitudinal engagement data almost no community program can show.
Illustrative. Individual scorecards go to participants; your organization receives aggregated, consented results.
Every participant can join a free, moderated WhatsApp circle for their city — the connection layer that makes a weekly program a daily community.
Our program design, outcomes and reporting line up with the funders seniors-serving organizations already use.
Community stream projects up to $25k — social participation and inclusion of seniors.
Annual grants for community projects that keep older adults active, connected and safe.
Seed and Grow streams for community wellbeing programming with measurable outcomes.
Healthy-aging and neighbourhood funds across the GTA and BC.
Brampton, Mississauga and Peel programs for recreation and inclusion.
Banks and local businesses fund fraud-prevention and community-wellness programming directly.
We bring the evidence base, the logic model, the outcome measures and the budget lines — you bring the organizational eligibility. Applications are stronger together.
Thirty minutes — your members, your space, your funding picture.
Scam-Safe or Strong Start at your venue — your members meet us, you see how we work.
Two coached sessions a week, screening and baselines done, circle opened.
The outcomes report lands on your desk — and in your next funding application.
Facilitation is priced per session and sized to fit small community grants — an 8-week, 16-session pilot fits comfortably inside a New Horizons-scale budget alongside your other costs. Workshops are lower-cost single sessions, and are often sponsorable (banks fund fraud-prevention content readily). Ask us on the call — and if you have no funding yet, we co-write the application.
We carry commercial general liability insurance, our coaches are certified and carry their own coverage, and every participant completes a health screening and informed consent before their first session. The program is physiotherapist-designed with chair-scalable progressions — "no pain, no gain" is banned. We'll gladly walk your insurer or board through the full package.
No. Delivery is available in Punjabi, Hindi or English, and the program works for any community — the design is culturally responsive, not culturally exclusive. Women-only sessions are available where communities prefer them.
That's who it's designed for. Screening sorts who needs a doctor's go-ahead; every exercise scales from seated to standing; coaches progress each person individually. This is a wellness program, though — not rehab, treatment or personal care — and we're clear about that line.
Scorecards belong to participants. Your organization receives aggregated, consented results for reporting; the WhatsApp circle is individual opt-in with express consent, PIPEDA- and CASL-compliant. Nothing is sold or shared — that's in writing.
Fair question. Facilitation fees fund the program, and the free circle builds the Sambhaal community. Down the road Sambhaal will run its own paid classes in the region — separate from, and never marketed inside, your funded sessions. We put that in the partnership agreement so there are no surprises.
